New Sales Director at SAS Institute SAS Institute, the world leader in data warehousing and management information systems, has appointed a new sales director - Julian Poulter. Mr Poulter joined SAS Institute this month from Gentia software. He will be responsible for sales covering the core vertical markets of public sector, commercial, finance and banking. Julian Poulter commented, "I intend to maintain our position as being the number one player in the data warehouse marketplace by borrowing techniques from the public company culture and applying them to SAS Institute - with the aim of even further increasing the UK operations growth and profitability. I want to make SAS Institute�s salesforce known as one of the premier IT salesforces in the UK." Julian Poulter (36), was previously Sales Director at Gentia Software for ten years and prior to that, at Comshare. Inc (also for ten years). His career has been predominantly focused on sales management in the IT industry.
